To perform an alley-oop, make sure there is an open player near the basket. Then press C-up and press B. The other player will do an alley-oop.

While playing a game, press Right on the d-pad, Right on the d-pad, Left on the d-pad, R, Z, Start, A, Start, A, Start, Z. Enter this code with controller 1.

Hold L button and press the A button on a pre-season game, then scroll all the way through the teams and you'll find the teams Nintendo, Left Field, and N64.

To change the replay angle, hold B while watching a replay.

Whenever you perform a two handed dunk, hold B to hold the rim longer. Warning: if you hold on too long you will get called for a technical foul.

Intentional fouls are a good way to stop players on a fast break. Press C-Right to intentionally foul a player.

NOTE: Intentionally fouling the player without the ball results in a flagrant foul; intentionally fouling the player with the ball is just a foul.

Use a player like Shaquille O'Neal and make him do a cool dunk. Now substitute Shaq for someone else and watch the instant replay.

Pause the game and go to PREFERENCES and set SPECIAL CAMERAS to REPLAYS. Then get back to the game. After you make a basket and it shows a replay, wait for it to finish. Then tap B and Z repeatedly to see it again.

This is a great way to fake your opponent. Press and hold B then press A to jump pass to the player which has the four small red arrows to.

Note: This might not work the first time. It took me a while to get it right.

When you are playing, get to a point, where you are standing still, but still dribbling the ball, press C-Down 4 or 5 times, this will cause you to dribble the ball between your legs. Most of the time the Computer will go haywire and keep moving away from you, then you'll have an open lane, or shot.

This trick works most of the time on Pro and Rookie difficulty levels.

To perform a fadeaway jumper, press B and hold back on the control stick.

To get a easy 3 pointer, pick a pretty good 3 point man. Run up to the 3 point line pump fake once, and then shoot the ball. Do this and 80% of the time you shall make a basket

To jog, hold R and then hold BACK. It only works if your opponent is in front of you.

When you turn the game on when you see the picture of Kobe Bryant, QUICKLY press RIGHT on the D-pad, RIGHT on the D-pad, LEFT on the D-pad, R, Z, START, A, START, A, START, Z.

Enter the following code at the menu screen:
C up, C down, C left, C right, START, START, A, B, A, R, Z then select the Left Field Team.

The Left Field team will now have alien heads.

Tap R twice to spin dribble.

On the main menu press C-Right, C-Right, B, R, R, C-Down, Up, Down, C-Up, A, Z.

To have more people to pass to, get the ball and press Z and R at the same time. You have to do this again if you lose the ball. To turn it off, press Z and R again.

To have unlimited team fouls, 5 players must foul out of the game.

To unlock 3 logo teams – "Left Field", "N64", and "Nintendo" – hold L button while selecting preseason mode. While continuing to hold L, push A.

Select "Create-a-Player" and name the new player "Michael Jordan". Enter 6' 6" as a height, 38 years old as an age, all attributes 99%, and make him pro for 8 years. The newly created player should have a Bulls uniform on when viewed.
