Nippon Ichi has made a name for itself in the US in a relatively short time. Within a year, three of their tactical RPGs have made it stateside and already the developer is being praised as the quintessential tactics king. Beautiful hand-drawn art, charming casts of characters and anime-esque plots are just a few tell-tale signs of a Nippon Ichi game. Phantom Brave is no exception, but does journey into new realms of tactics and gameplay. Sporting a more free-form movement, a plot-driven 20-episode trek, a convoluted 'Summon' system, and more innovations than you can shake a stick at, Phantom Brave adds so much to the Nippon Ichi formula, yet retains all the charms that made its predecessors famous. In the "Lifting and Throwing" tutorial you get your hands on the Snakish sword. To get this rare item, keep the sword instead of lifting it. Then after your turns run out you will obtain the sword.

On Phantom Isle there are items you can get by jumping in certain areas.

Hint - Big Bang Yourself

Here is a quick way to level up. Take a character and fuse a Titlist to it. Make sure they have enough mana to learn Big Bang. Teach them this move.

Go to monetopia and fight at peaceful hills with the little rabbits. Kill all but one of the ones that is leveling up and stay a good distance from the rabbit or it will attack you. Also don't kill the old man in the corner or this won't work. Keep ending your turns until the rabbit is level 9999. Throw your weapon next to the rabbit and confine the character that has big bang to the weapon it will kill the rabbit and you should level up 150 times or so.

This will only happen if you have fused with the character a couple of times and the character is around level 50 or so. I have my Ash at around level 560 after only a couple of hours, and what's more you will get 50,000,000 bor. This will go faster if you give Marona an axe or other weapon that brings her speed down to around 100 or so.

Also in the beginning because she is moving so slowly you might want to confine a faster character to kill all the scrabbits for her and let her move to a safety zone.
