For a full year, NFL Blitz was the only PlayStation game I needed. My friend Pat and I would stay up until 4 am (on worknights, mind you) at least once a week for many, many months in a row. The reason for our lack of sleep always boiled down to one phrase. "Okay, dude. One more. I'm gonna beat you once before I leave." The addictive power of Blitz is unbelievable.

Now this digital drug makes its first appearance on the PlayStation 2, and I couldn't be more delighted. They've added features, made the game a whole lot prettier and expanded in the areas that needed expanding. Ultimately, though, it's still Blitz, and I'm still hooked.

So I decided to write a guide, and this is the fruit of my loom. The guide is chock full of expert hints, team strategies, winning techniques, and all the secrets in the game. And love. Lots and lots of love.
