Well, Capcom has answered many a fans' prayer and has finally graced Mega Man freaks around the world with their second collection, this one concentrating on the first six games of the Mega Man X series. You must unlock the fireball move and beat Mega Man X.

You must finish Grand Prix mode with any racer.

Whoop-on Wily three times and the Black Troop will challenge you. After you complete each race, you must find one of the secret parts before the next one.

You must win one circuit without using any continues.

Reach the gate's lab.

Since it's a pain to find the golden chip, use the password 2776-5163-6462-7847. This gives you all items but no chip enhancements.

Before entering the first Dr. Doppler stage (after beating the 8 maverick bosses), you must have the following:

- all Ride Armor (mech) modules
- all 4 Armor pieces (not the chip upgrades)
- all 4 Sub Tanks fully charged
- all 8 Heart Tanks

Now enter the first Dr. Doppler stage. You will soon fight a midboss with a collapsing ceiling. Beat him, then leave the room. After leaving the room, I would suggest switching to Zero. Look for the first pit on the floor. Before jumping down, switch back to X and make sure his health is full. Slide down the left side to find a hidden capsule, where Dr. Light will give you the Super Chip (Gold Armor). This chip is a combination of the other four chips, giving X all their special abilities:

- healing by standing still
- stronger defense
- double dashing in any direction
- multiple charged shots
