Warcraft III is the latest, greatest real-time strategy game from the fine folks of Blizzard Entertainment. Set in a rollicking, violent fantasy world, it tells the story of four great peoples -- Humans, Orcs, Night Elves, and Undead -- who battle for supremacy in a land time has forgot.

Along with an extensive story-driven single player campaign, the game also features a free multiplayer service for all owners of the game called Battle.net. Our advice to you, if you want to be a good multiplayer competitor, is to play through all of the single player campaigns first, practice some in 'skirmish mode' on your own PC, and finally, only when you've thoroughly mastered the game, then log onto Battle.net and start going head-to-head with other human players.

Our guide will help you do all of those things... but keep in mind it's a work in progress, and we still have many new sections to add in the next couple weeks. It's complete through the Orc walkthrough right now.

Beat the Night Elf campaign on the HARD level setting and after the original ending (with all the outtakes) a Starcraft battle takes place using the Warcraft III 3-D graphics engine.

In the second Night Elf mission in the campaign mode (Chapter 2: Daughters of the Moon) you can find a Hydralisk at the top of the map, slightly to the left of the top right fountain of life. The easiest way to find it is to create an owl scout and fly it up towards the fountain and then move left along the top of the map until you see it. I don't think it is possible to fight it, but it is a nice easter egg for Starcraft fans.
