Freelancer Online Strategy Guide

Wanna know how to beat Freelancer? How about going straight to the source. For our online strategy guide, we got the lead designer Jorg Neumann and the writer Adam Foshko to craft the definite and exclusive blueprint to their game.

IGN's Strategy Guide is intended for both the beginning user of Freelancer as well as the hardened veteran. It is organized into three sections:

Basic Information:
The Guide begins with the game controls: basic ship controls, tips for advanced controls, and important hotkeys. It then explains some of the underlying game systems such as the random mission system, the reputation system and the concept of bribes, rumors and information. The last part of this section offers some useful game play tips.

Campaign Mission Walkthrough:
By far largest part of this Strategy Guide, this section contains a detailed walkthrough of the campaign missions. Each mission is described in detail with tons of useful information.

Secrets and Cheat Codes:
This final section of the Guide offers information about 20 of the game's most hidden secrets. It lists the name of each secret, the type of good contained and its location. The section is complete by the only cheat code present in "Freelancer."
