When playing as the thief, you can steal from the chickens in town. Your reward is entirely appropriate. :-)

For a lovely bonus in the single-player game, toss some coins in the bard's tray (in the center of town.)

1. Start a new game and transfer all the money from one character to the other character.
2. Start a new game again and use the character that you gave all the gold to and put in a whole new character.
3. Take the 1500 gold from the new character and give it to the character with all the gold from last time.
4. Repeat as desired.

Go to the directory where darkstone is installed, go to the save/character directory. Copy the character.lpl file to a different directory. Start a multiplayer game and come in with your character with your most valuable items. Sell them all and lay the cash on the ground. Exit the game to the title screen and alt+ tab to the desktop. Go to the directory where you saved the character.lpl file- copy and paste it over your current .lpl file in the save/character directory. Load the multiplayer game, repeat. Make sure to leave the money on the ground until you're done duping. With a lvl 34 character's items I was making 250K a run.

Because the music in DarkStone is stored in MP3 format, rename the file (giving it an "mp3" extension) to hear it in your MP3 player!
